Capt Mike Bady      Captains Table Charters

Captain Mike began fishing the North Fork at 8 years of age, with his dad, from rented rowboats in Peconic Bay.  From that time going forward, his entire focus in the fishing world has been the North Fork/East end waters.  In particular, he is a huge fan of employing light tackle techniques to obtain maximum enjoyment from the fishing experience.  His love for light tackle is clearly evidenced by the above photograph of a 40# yellowfin tuna landed on 20# test line.  His dedication to this type of excitement is present during every charter we run.  Regardless of your age, gender, size or level of experience Capt. Mike’s patience and ability to clearly communicate the proper technique assures your own personal fishing success.

Adam is a well known and well regarded surf fisherman who fishes the West End beaches and harbors as well as both forks of Long Islands east end. Adam is proficient at fishing from the surf in a wetsuit and his seminar will focus exactly on this. Techniques to use, how to prep and rig yourself out, Adam’s presentation is promised not to be the run of the mill seminar.

Safety is one aspect that Adam prides himself at and last year alone, he was told that a few fisherman that have sat in on one of his presents time, used his safety tips to protect themselves from imminent danger and harm.

This is a great presentation for the experienced angler and is a can’t miss for those anglers hitting the suds for the first time.

Capt. Bob Schmidt                  Sea Rogue Charters

Born and raised in Freeport, New York, I have been fishing Long Island’s beautiful local waters my entire life. It all started when my dad took me fishing for the first time at age 3. Since then I’ve been “hooked.”

Growing up on the water, I spent as much time as possible fishing from piers and boats. Eventually I became a mate on numerous charter boats, soaking in the natural splendor of the sea while learning all I could about charter fishing. As time went by, fishing became much more than a job or a hobby for me…it became my passion.

My fishing experiences extend well beyond Long Island’s waters and include many other fascinating locations as well. I’ve traveled up and down the eastern seaboard, from Maine to the Florida Keys, to ports in Hawaii, Mexico, Central America and throughout the Caribbean.

As the captain of Sea Rogue Fishing Charters I’m able to do something that few people are given the opportunity to do: work at something I love. Plus, I get to share my enthusiasm for the sea and my knowledge of fishing with my customers. I’m proud to say that I have authored numerous fishing articles for publications such as Nor’east Saltwater and The Fisherman and am a featured seminar speaker.

Jake Mieczkowski

Daniel Caminiti

Daniel comes referred to the WMHS Fishing Club Expo as a polished 14 year old angler.  Our second “Youth” presenter, will hold a talk directed towards a first time angler but he is versed in some more advanced techniques and has a willingness to share his love for surf fishing and all else fishing related.
